International logistics service provider cargo-partner CR successfully extended its lease agreement in Prague – Hostivice
Prague, September 9, 2015 – Real estate consulting company Colliers International represented a worldwide logistics provider, company cargo-partner CR, in the extension of a lease agreement for 4,350 square metres of warehouse space and 870 square metres of office space in SEGRO Logistics Park Prague. cargo-partner’s lease extends back to 2007.
“The extension of this lease agreement with cargo-partner CR is the outcome of a long-standing mutually favourable cooperation and very good relationships between both companies in the Czech Republic,” said David Plzák, Development Manager SEGRO. “It demonstrates our tenants’ wish to remain within SEGRO Logistics Park Praha unless the leasing unit is not sufficient for them in terms of the size and if we aren´t objectively able to offer a bigger size unit. We are convinced that not only advantageous price conditions contribute to this park’s consistently high occupancy rate, but also the quality of offered services. These factors will remain our top priority for our upcoming construction that should continue this year and be completed in 2018, expanding the Park by about another 120,000 square metres to a total of 250,000 square metres of leasable space. Within the new construction, we plan to extend our portfolio to include small business units starting at 250 square metres, large capacity warehouses covering 60,000 square metres, and even more by preserving all the comparative advantages that SEGRO Park has compared to the competition. These advantages include the excellent access to the highway network, proximity to the airport, good visibility of the Park from main traffic routes in the surrounding area, accessibility of public transport, and, for the new part of SEGRO Park, immediate proximity to the Hostivice railway station and location on the boarders with the capital city of Prague.”
“Thanks to the project team led by Robert Bocker and their excellent knowledge of the industrial market in the Czech Republic, specifically in and around the capital, we have successfully helped to sign new lease conditions for cargo-partner in SEGRO Logistics Park Prague,” said Petr Zaoral, Director of Industrial Agency, Colliers International Czech Republic. “An integral part of the extended lease agreement for company cargo-partner CR are the lease conditions that will enable them to increase its competitiveness on the logistical market, but also other benefits such as the technical enhancement of the building and its surrounding.”
